On 14th October 2018, the Tallinn Open International Karate Tournament was held in Tallinn, in which more than 300 athletes took part. The guys from our club won 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, taking 13th place in the team competition (a total of 31 clubs from 8 countries).
Lanberg Aljona — 1st place kumite and 2nd place kata.
Zinovkin Kirill — 2nd place kumite.
Šimkunas David — 2nd place kumite.
Mazur Alesja — 3rd place kata.
Also for the first time, our junior Karatekas tried their hand at such a large tournament: Antonova Annika, Vitol Alex, Nikolaev Kirill, Kudryavtsev Richard, Lezhnev Platon.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to win medals this time.
We hope that in the future, hard training will lead to more significant results.
