From March 29 to April 6, the European Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championships took place in Belgrade, Serbia. The Estonian national team brought home three silver medals. One of them was won by the pupil of our club Anna Vitol!

At the championship Anna finished the semi-final fight with an experienced opponent from Spain early, using elbow leverage. In the final she was one step away from gold, losing to the athlete from Ukraine only by a split decision of the judges.

We express our deep gratitude to the coaches for their invaluable contribution, time, wisdom and a huge amount of work done.

We are proud of Anna and hope that soon we will see her on top of the podium.
