From March 1 to March 3, 2024 in Ventspils took place the WAKO Latvian Kickboxing Championship “Latvia Open 2024”. More than 300 athletes from six countries took part in the competition. Fights were held in the ring and on tatami in the disciplines Kick Light, Light Kick, Point fight, Full Contact, Low Kick and K-1.

Six athletes from our Jyoshinmon club participated in the championship and successfully won 11 medals: three gold, five silver and three bronze:
