From October 9 to 13, 2024 in Venice, Italy, the WKF World Karate Championship for athletes under 21 years old took place. Alena Lanberg, a sportswoman of our club Jyoshinmon, took part in the national team of Estonia.

Alena had a tense fight with the representative of Switzerland, which ended with the score 3:3. However, according to the rules of “first point” the victory went to the opponent, and Alena, unfortunately, was literally one step away from victory. Despite this result, her performance was worthy and inspiring – a real fight to the last second!

We are sure that this experience will be an important step for her on the way to new heights, and she will surely win in future competitions.
