JYOSHINMON SHORINRYU KARATE-DO winter sports camp was held on December 27-30, 2021 and January 3-7, 2022. On the final day there was an exam to check and confirm the qualification. Everyone tried hard and most were able to improve their qualification and received the corresponding belts. We congratulate the sportsmen!

On 09.02.2019 the 2nd stage of the JYOSHINMON Grappling League Tournament for 2018-2019 was held. The competition was attended by 93 athletes from the 6 clubs. Along with our regular partners  "Tokon", "Spordiliider" and "Vigor", the following athletes  from Latvia participated: clubs "BJJ Academy" and "Gracie Barra". All athletes showed character and a will to win. Well done!!!

On 26th January, the TARTU OPEN 2019 international kickboxing tournament took place in Tartu. Competitions were held in the ring according to the rules of K-1. From our club Anna and Alex Vitol took place. Alex managed to win gold, Anna received silver. Many thanks to Artur Küla, who travelled with the guys, helped to fight and win!

At the end of the winter camp, a qualifying exam was held under the guidance of the chief instructor of the Western Region of Russia of the All-Russian Federation Jyoshinmon Shorin-ryu Karate-do Sharadze Vakhtang Yuzovich (6th  Dan Karate Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do). The exam was successfully passed by students of coach Alexander Mikhailovich Lanberg: Artjom Kitšinski and Maxim Zinovkin received the 1st Dan in Karate Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do. Well done! From 2 to 5 January 2019 a winter camp was held for karate. The trainings were held under the guidance of the famous Karate master Sharadze Vakhtang Yuzovich:  -  6 Dan Karate Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do;  -  5 Dan Yoshin-ryu Kobudo;  -  6 Dan Uechi-ryu Karate, holder of the Renshi degree;  -  Chief Instructor of the Western Region of Russia of the All-Russian Federation Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-do. In 2010, Vakhtang Yuzovich Sharadze held Kobudo and Tameshiwari (extreme breaking up of objects) at the World Cup in Josinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do style, which was held in Rakvere in Estonia. From 24th to 25th December 2018 a winter sports camp for junior belts was held. All the guys tried very hard and worked hard during all these days. On 30th December, an examination for belts took place - all Karatekas received the following belt. Well done, kids! Keep it up!

15th -16th December: BALTIC CUP 2018, K-1 WAKO tournament for athletes aged 7-16 years.
In total, 85 athletes from 13 clubs in Estonia, Lithuania, Russia and Latvia took part.

2 athletes from our club attended.

Alex Vitol took 1st place in his category, and Anna Vitol - 3rd.

15th December 2018, the Christmas boxing tournament was held in the  Mustamäe Children's Creative House. Iskender Samat and Alex Vitol from our club took part in the competition. Both took 2nd  place.

On 10th November 2018, a regular tournament in the Estonian Karate League was held in Tartu The Karatekas  from our club won 8 golds, 5 silvers and 1 bronze medal, taking the 1st place in the team event. Tsirtsinis Aleks — 1st place kumite. Zinovkin Kirill — 1st place kata and 2nd place kumite. Šimkunas David — 1st place kumite. Volkov Viktor — 3rd place kumite. Ostrovski Martin — 1st place kumite. Limberg Mihhail — 2nd place kumite. Grintshuk Robert — 1st place kumite. The competition was attended also by our Karatekas: Müllarinen Nicole,  Nikolajev Kirill, Kudrjavtsev Richard, Sytchev Kirill, Dobrodejev Kristjan, Tkatshov Artur, Viinamägi Roman, Anutšin Vladlen,  Ostrovski Norman. Unfortunately, this time it was not possible for everyone to win medals. We hope that in the future, hard training will lead to more significant results.

10.11.2018 the "DISTRICT ELDER BIG CUP TOURNAMENT" competition was held at the "Kristiine Spordihall" for Wushu Sanda Wushu Sanshou is a modern Chinese art of hand-to-hand combat and a type of sports contact martial art. Sanshou means "free fight." As a martial art, Wushu was developed by the Chinese military based on the study and practice of traditional Kung Fu, modern methods of self-defence and elements of other combat systems. It combines punches and kicks, throws and grabs. The fight is held in full contact on the platform with a height of about one metre. All participants are split according to weight categories.   From our club Alex Vitol, who won the 1st place in his category took part .

On 14th October 2018, the Tallinn Open International Karate Tournament was held in Tallinn, in which more than 300 athletes took part. The guys from our club won 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, taking 13th place in the team competition (a total of 31 clubs from 8 countries). Lanberg Aljona — 1st place kumite and 2nd place kata. Zinovkin Kirill — 2nd place kumite. Šimkunas David — 2nd place kumite. Mazur Alesja — 3rd place kata. Also for the first time, our junior Karatekas tried their hand at such a large tournament: Antonova Annika, Vitol Alex, Nikolaev Kirill, Kudryavtsev Richard, Lezhnev Platon. Unfortunately, it was not possible to win medals this time. We hope that in the future, hard training will lead to more significant results.

In the city of Lido di Jesolo (Italy), from 15th to 23rd September 2018, the World Kickboxing Championship among cadets and juniors (WAKO) took place. 2,300 participants from 10 to 18 years old from 67 countries of five continents competed in 7 sections of this sport. From our club, 3 athletes joined the Estonian national team: Artjom Kitšinski, Robert Grinchuk and Maxim Taraskin. As a result of labourious work, we managed to get two awards: in the ring (low-kick) + 81kg and tatami (kick-light) -69kg! Robert Grinchuk- 3rd place, low-kick + 81kg, Artjom Kitšinski - 3rd place, kick-light -69kg Taraskin Maxim - 5th place, kick-light +69kg I would like to express my gratitude to our coach, Alexander Lanberg, because the good results of our athletes depended on his work. From 5 to 18 August 2018 the 2nd summer sports camp JYOSHINMON SHORINRYU KARATE-DO was held in the village of Klooga. On the final day an exam was held, where our Karatekas confirmed their knowledge and skills with their spirit and body. All tried and most were able to improve their skills and have received the corresponding belt. Well done!!! Unfortunately, some kids, due to serious injury, were not able to take part in the exam. But don't lose heart, next time you will succeed.

From 17.05 to 20.05.2018 the 24th World Kickboxing Cup for Cadets and Juniors was held in Budapest. 2600 athletes from 230 clubs worldwide took part in competition. From our club Maksim Taraskin and Artjom Kitšinski took part. Maxim won the World Cup, finishing in 1st place among senior cadets in the kick-light. Artjom, winning 4 fights, won silver in the kick-light (Juniors - 69). We heartily congratulate the winners! Keep it up!

On 05 May 2018 the Estonia Cup 2018 - Light Contact/Kick Light kickboxing tournament was held in Tartu. Participants in the competition came from the best clubs in Estonia. There were 12 athletes from our club. 8 of them took 1st place: Robert Grintshuk, Artjom Kitšinski, David Šimkunas, Martin Ostrovski, Norman Ostrovski, Anna Vitol, Mihhail Kustov, Artjom Zhmud. 4 athletes won the silver: Maksim Taraskin, Timur Minosenko, Aleks Vitol, Anika Antonova   Congratulations to all winners!

On 21 April the Open Karate Tournament for the Prizes from the Moscow Federation of Jyoshinmon Shorin Ryu Karate" in Memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union E.V. Vysotsky was held. The tournament attracted clubs from Russia, Ukraine and Estonia. In the team classification our  Karatekas took 3rd place. They won 4 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals: 1st place: Aleksandr Lanberg – (kata 35+); Alesja Mazur - (kata girls 12-13 years old), Kirill Zinovkin- (kata boys 10-11 years old), Alesja Mazur - (Sanbon kumite girls 12-13 years old, absolute category) 2nd place: Viktor Volkov - (kata 12-13 year old boys); 3rd place: David Šimkunas (Kata 10-11 year old boys and Sanbon Kumite 10-11 year old boys -45kg),  Victor Volkov - (Sanbon Kumite 12-13 year old boys -55kg), Maksim Zinovkin - (Ippon-Kumite 16-17 year old teenagers 65+ kg); Our judges Maksim Laptejko and Alexey Ustinov worked at the competitions, as well as club president Aleksandr Lanberg. 2018_Position-Joshinmon

On 14 April 2018 the international karate tournament "Grand Prix Jurmala  2018" was held. Karatekas from our club took part in the competition. They won 3 bronze medals: Aljona Lanberg in kata and kumite, Martin Ostrovski in kumite. Erik Gasporyan, one step away from a medal, took 5th place. Well done!
